Ashlee earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carroll University, where she also minored in Sociology, Health and Human Experience, and Occupational Therapy. She strongly values meeting individuals where they are and supporting them as they grow and work towards their goals—no matter how big or small.

Ashlee began her career as a Behavioral Technician, working with children to develop communication, social interaction, self-care and play skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement. She then joined Rogers Behavioral Health, where she spent 4 years building a career in mental health.  During her time at Rogers, she worked as a Mental Health Technician in the depression, anxiety, and mood disorder unit, providing direct care, monitoring behavior, assisting with daily activities, and promoting skill development. She later advanced to a Behavior Specialist role, where she facilitated groups, taught coping skills, and contributed to the development of treatment plans. In her final year she served as a unit Supervisor, managing staff, supporting residents, and overseeing daily unit operations.

Ashlee was drawn to this current position because it allows her to continue advocating for individuals who may not always have a voice or the ability to fully express their needs, ensuring they are heard, respected, and supported in living fulfilling lives.
